I was gifted a box of “Tastefully Simple” almond pound cake mix, and this recipe was on the box. Far too delicious to not be shared! Make it for your Valentine. 🙂
- 1 large pound cake, preferably almond (mine was baked in a 9 x 5 loaf pan)
- 3.4 oz. box instant vanilla pudding
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 8 oz. thawed Cool Whip
- 2 1/3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
Cube pound cake. Combine pudding and milk, whisk 2 minutes; fold in Cool Whip. Make 2-3 layers of cake cubes, pudding mixture and sliced strawberries in a clear glass bowl. Cover and chill 1 hour. Devour.
